Description
- General description: MQuant® Congo red paper is suitable to monitor a qualitative pH change in the acidic range. The paper changes its color from blue-violet (pH < 2) to red-orange (pH > 5). pH indicator papers supplied in rolls are better suited for longterm storage, since they are protected against external influences. pH indicator papers are manufactured by impregnating high-quality filter paper with indicator or mixed-indicator solutions. Therefore, the paper is dryed, cut and packed into the corresponding sizes. For a semi-quantitative monitoring of the pH value, please refer to our MQuant® pH-indicator papers or strips and for a quantitative measurement to our Reflectoquant® test strips.
